Privacy Policy
Dolce — Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia · Last updated 10 September 2026
Dolce operates an automated assistant that answers guest messages sent to our Instagram account @dolce.ub. This policy explains what that assistant does with your information.
What we collect
- Your Instagram-scoped user ID (a number issued by Meta; it is not your username or e-mail).
- The content of the messages you send us and the replies we send you.
- The date and time of each message.
We do not collect payment details, government IDs, contact lists, location data, or any information from your Instagram profile beyond the scoped ID above.
Why we use it
- To answer your questions about our menu, opening hours, and reservations.
- To keep the conversation coherent by remembering what was already said.
- To review, in aggregate, how well the assistant is serving guests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Who can see it
Message content is stored in our private database (Supabase, EU region) and processed by our messaging assistant (Anthropic) solely to generate a reply. Dolce staff may read conversations to help a guest or to fix a problem. No other third party receives your data.
How long we keep it
Conversations are retained for up to 24 months so we can recognise returning guests, then deleted.
Your choices
You may ask us to delete your conversation history or to stop messaging you at any time — send a message to @dolce.ub or e-mail info@dolce.restaurant. We action deletion requests within 30 days. You can also block the account in Instagram, which stops all messages immediately.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access restricted to the restaurant owner. Access credentials are held as encrypted secrets.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
